All introductory classes
(Puppy Socialization, Senior Puppy and Introductory Adult dog)

Include the following basics:

• An introduction to ‘how dogs learn’ and how best to teach them
• Step by step information about how to effectively increase distraction in training.
  (i.e. how to help behaviours that your dog listens to in your living room, become ones
  that he listens to in the park.)
• A veterinarian will personally address pet wellness issues with you during one of the
  classes
• How to teach proper greeting habits (not jumping up) and polite walking behaviour
  (loose leash walking)
• Basic manners taught include sit, lie down, leave it, take it, stay, come, give and
  attention
• A thorough introduction to clicker training and behaviour marking

Classes are kept small to allow for the “one on one time.” This way, each student gets the individual
help that they need
